WooHoo yay been a while since i played or did anything on efu and i have recoverd well since my last game character wich i loved with the others i lost account info so started agian sadly my nwn broke but got a new one but while i was installing them i tryed updateing them sadly not letting me anyone know why that is?
well till its solved i will only be in the fourms but hopefully back in the game pretty soon already working on aways to get my game up to date mwahaha
oh also look to hit the whole world pretty fast

I had the same problem very recently. You have to download the update manually from a website. It should say so and provide a link in the update screen when it doesn't work, if I'm not completely wrong.
this problem has been fixed for some time now but your idea was right i had to just download manualy
