Title: Kingsman's Inn
Post by: Egon the Monkey on September 02, 2009, 10:53:17 PM
It's been a rather abandoned faction for some time. I've made a Cleric of Sharess who's determined to get the social scene of Ymph buzzing again, and he needs YOU!

This is a perfect opportunity to say, try a Cooking PC to see what you can craft, or to make a Bard who will have the support of a venue behind his performances. On the other side of things, you could play a tough fighter who's equally at home with security duty and hauling the barrels of ale around as a part-time break from mercenary jobs.

The faction has no duties beyond "do stuff that makes the pub money" and perks of free rest at the Kingsman, storage, and the potential to make money selling alcohol to the masses. I don't aim to bandwagon this into a large faction, but it would be cool if I got 2-3 other players so there will regularly be a PC staff member about in the inn, making it more than just a place to run into and recharge spells. It's also more open to Good PCs than the Hanged Goblin or to a lesser degree the Wastrel, so if you WANT to make a Paladin Barman.... XD.

It would be nice to see a few more PC's involved in this.  Get people in the inn rather than just standing around in front of it.

Make drinks, try to persuade them into making a playing stage in the kingsman, or a tumbler, or even a PC bard who wants to let his poems or songs out in a presentation. Being an employee is fun work, but you can think it is underpowered. When you make a character on efu it is not just about the power, the build, or the concept. It is about how you use your concept to have fun with the server.
