for purposes of favored enemy and tracking, gnolls seem to count as goblinoids.
not a bug.
Yeah, that's a Bioware NWN default.
Gnolls are goblinoids. Big, hairy, doglike goblinoids.
i thought bugbears were the goblinoids, gnolls were just like MONSTEROUS HUMANOIDS!
They should be Monsterous Humanoids or just Humanoids.

But then again....
"Goblinoids are stealthy humanoids (//%22http://www.escapefromunderdark.com/wiki/Humanoid%22) who live by hunting and raiding. They all speak Goblin.
Examples include:
- Goblin (//%22http://www.escapefromunderdark.com/wiki/Goblin%22)
- Hobgoblin (//%22http://www.escapefromunderdark.com/wiki/Hobgoblin%22)
- Gnoll (//%22http://www.escapefromunderdark.com/wiki/Gnoll%22)
- Bugbear (//%22http://www.escapefromunderdark.com/wiki/Bugbear%22) "

In 2nd edition they used to be giants.
As long as we're internally consistent I don't think anyone should care, though. There's no problem leaving them as goblinoids.
