I just wanted to put in a quick word to everyone on the server. Recent conversations about "good" players and "bad" ones has definitely left some people hurt I believe. "Wow, I must not be getting DM attention or all the things I want because I'm a bad player." In my mind, if you are not breaking any rules and you're enjoying yourself, then you are a good player.
Don't judge your character's success on how much DM love you get for it or how much "impact" you are able to make. Granted, DM attention is great and sometimes even necessary if you are leading a group of PC's or the like, but there are ways to have fun without any of it. Things like impact don't really mean anything in the long run. Wow, you had a character who was a legend in a fictional universe of about 50 people. Its really not all that big a deal.
Enjoy your own character's story. Don't worry about who else might be or not. When you make your own fun, you win at EFUA.
This has been a Panama Public Service Announcement.
+1. Way to go, panama.
I agree fully with the OP.
but what if mort doesn't like me? :( :(
AGREEDEDEDEDEDED!
This is shameful loser-speak. Some players don't care about having fun, they care about CRUSH KILL DESTROY AND VICTORY.
Mort: Fixed.
Very nice.
