I'm playing Tei Il'Ead, A Wild Elf, and he's taken a level of Sorcerer at third level, then taken another level of his primary class. I didn't notice until I was near gaining another level, but the Multiclass Penalty was being applied, notably to his exploration XP. As the Wild Elf favored class is supposed to be Sorcerer, I was under the impression that it wouldn't be counted.
Favored Class is hard coded alas.
Cannot be fixed.
Hm... In that case, I guess I should make a formal poke to get the subrace lists fixed at some point, or at least a 'Subrace Fav. Classes don't work' pasted somewhere handy. Thanks anyhow.
I'm fairly sure Thomas is wrong, only in the sense that the DMs have made a workaround for these specific issues. For instance, you no longer get the "lucky" feat if you choose strongheart halfling, and subraces that use the human race do not give bonus feats and skill slots.
However, I may be mistaken as I haven't played a monster/subrace in some time.
I do know, however, that the Wood Elf subrace was broken as of 6 months ago, and the same problem may be plaguing the other elf subraces.
Pup is correct. Multiclass penalties are hardcoded but EFUQS is meant to adjust the XP value accordingly. If it is broken for one race it's an error in the setup script or it's broken for all races.
The modifier was never applied to exploration XP. Fixed now.
