Title: Music Override
Post by: Semli on April 01, 2010, 08:25:30 AM
Downloaded it, tossed the files in what I believed to be the appropriate directories, and no new music. Any pro tips?

Override, no subdirectory.

Snoteye, innaccurate as always...

This, actually, does not go into override. You need to put it in your music folder. Make sure to make a backup of your original .bmus.

First, change the name of your music directory to something like "Old Music".  Then create a new directory called "music" and copy the files you downloaded to that directory.  You're all set!

Note:  If you've downloaded any additional music files such as those for a single player mod, you'll have to add them to the new music directory as well.  Alternatively, you could simply rename the new "music" directory to something like, "music_efu" and then rename "Old Music" back to music when playing a single player mod.  Just don't forget to switch them back before logging back into EfU if you want to hear the new EfU music.

oic

I was not aware the files had been packaged, I thought they were just separate sound files. I stand corrected.
