I have to say that the bardsong change is brilliant. Perform giving a gradual improvement to Bardsong rather than being a flat "must have" set of values to reach is much better. There's both the option to not have to max it, but also it rewards bards who do concentrate on being a renowed performer.
This really helps add variation to the bard, and show the difference between a combat bard who can put his skills into Discipline/Conc etc, and a master artist who can effectively get Lingering Song for free.
EDIT:
For those wondering what this is, it was answered in DM Q&A, but not up on the Mechanics page yet.
Perform is no longer required for Bard Song to work. Instead, Perform grants increased length to Bardsong's duration based on the number of ranks. What this means is that you don't have to max out Perform to use Bard Song, and that frees up skill points for other purposes. You could in fact buy 0 ranks in Perform and do all your perform demonstrations through EFUSS Entertainment rolls.
There are changes to perform...?*scratches head*
There's something, but it's documented nowhere.
Like a good deal of changes, it seems. It would be nice if someone with time and the information could compile a list to update the Mechanics Changes.
Its One extra round of bardsong per 3 perform points. Afaik.
A sweet change.
No longer required, but increases duration if you have it.
Does that stack with Lingering Song?

It does I believe.
cool story bro
The changes are rather huge, look them over. The ability to have bardsong to add 1 attack per round is an amazing damage buff.
It's like buffing clerics with domains, it's not that they needed it in any manner, but the flavor it adds is oh so tasty.
All these updates are leading to one thing:
