The Tempest is essentially a cult that is trying to make it's beginnings within the docks of Ymph. They are fanatics of chaos and fury and pay tribute to the gods that hold power of such domains, those such as Talos, Auril, Umberlee, Malar, and even a few others than can easily fit in (athough the primary four are the founding idea behind the concept).
The concept itself revolves around the simple but massive task of bringing these powers into the daily prayers of Ymph's inhabitants, whether through brute force or word of mouth, and spreading chaos whenever possible. The chaotic docks offer a fairly safe place for this cult and the church of Umberlee already holds a lot of power with the people there.
Beyond the wanton destruction and fury, this concept also revolves around transforming the docks into a real haven of chaos, protecting people that are normally exiled from society all around Faerun, building them (with prayer to the powers of destruction), and directing that chaos towards their enemies.
Things are already in motion and the concept is -very- open to personal agendas or unique concepts. Many races and classes fit and if you want any help with something that would be involved in this then feel free to send me a PM here or in-game on Karida Intisar.
Things are going very well at the moment for this faction. The organization has quite a few members and has been acting as a proxy for the Sons of Sabuth.
I encourage everyone that is looking for a concept to think about it and hop in while it's active! We're always looking for more people and you don't need to be a devout of the Fury Gods to be a part of it, as they accept many mercenary types as well (that don't have conflicting faiths).
We could use some fresh blood! If you've ever been interested in playing a religious/fanatic character with very discernible goals, this is the faction for you!
