So that they are all female.

Only a woman can wield the Fury of Faerun, and ruthlessly hunt down anything in her way.

The Deities of Fury are mostly women.

Umberlee, Auril....The men are just Talos and Malar (I dont think Malar has a gender.)

I agree with thomas. All dietyies of fury and chaos should be female. Also, all jungle cats should be NE. Female cats should be CE.

Forgotten Realms screwed up the mythology and symbolism of the sexes, anyhow. Male god of earth (and stability, immanence) and female goddess of air (dynamism, change), wtf? It is, however, "correct" that Talos as the god of the sky and heavenly fire is male.
