A spawn point for Stygians in their barracks would be awesome!

Not unless I just can't find it, and I just double-checked. There's a spawn point in the Gobsquat station, but not in the Citadel barracks.
Did you try reseting your spawn point?
You should spawn automatically there.
As far as I remember. There used to be one next to the podium where specialist kedrian stands. However one reset it simply dissapeared and I was forced to reset to the ziggurat.
It was there.
