Items with Spell Immunity: Evard's Black Tentacles don't grand immunity against said spell
This has been covered in a bug report from over a month ago.
Spell Immunity on items only works if the spell allows for spell resistance.
Evard's does not.
Items that grant immunity to it will not work.
Can you make Evard's check for SR?
DM staff stated they had no interest making it check for SR given that its unique among spells being one of the few damage options against targets with SR.
Gotcha.
OP evards all day, free kill on wizards.

unless your a gnome/halfer
Evard's is supposed to be unstoppable, so this item is not really a bug.
Unstoppable short of freedom potions, PfX, high AB, small size...
Considering how powerful SR is in NWN (creatures with it don't have to lower it for a round in order to let beneficial spells affect them) and how many things have SR, I'd argue there need to be more spells that don't check it.
I think edition 3.5 has more spells without a SR check, such as melf's acid arrow. I'd support changes like this myself
An item with the immunity still didn't the block the evards' damage when tested.
Sorry nihm, I know I sold you that item. If you'd like I can re-emberse you IG whenever I can get on.
That's a very sweet offer, but don't worry about it!
Alright, you sure? I didn't pay anything for it, it's no big deal, honest.
