is a pretty scary sound.

I'm out at a Company Outpost, an itty bitty base out in the middle of nowhere'sville, Sucksmuchistan... this past week we've been mortared just about everyday.

Today was perhaps the most exciting.  The incoming rocket/bomb sound followed by a very close boom, running for cover, a second round impacting as I'm getting to the door, the third round sounding like it's spraying debris all over our shelter...

I'll be glad when the only danger I'm in is being virtually pwned by Caddies or something.  For realz.

On the bright side, I think I'll be getting my Combat Action Badge.
