As far as I know, protection from evil stacks when you brew it, please do this to other potions. It's a pain when you end up drinking one while trying to stack them.
This happens with all potions when brewing.
Not true. I've brewed protection from evil and they stack nicely on creation.
Brewed potions won't stack with dropped loot potions of the same kind though. It's a software thing.
Heals don't stack. I've made enough that this is a minor annoyance for large orders.
Hey, that's why you should always buy from the same PC brewer. So he gets more coins, and you get to stack your potions...
I believe the problem they are talking about is thus:
When brewing potions, they are not stacking as they are created, but instead each potion created takes up new slots in their inventory, requiring the player to drag and drop each potion to get it to stack. This is time-consuming, and introduces the potential for accidentally drinking a potion if they double-click by mistake.
If JackOfSwords is right, this is possible to change. You may compare the implementation to being run over by a steam roller very, very slowly.
It's been some time since I played a brewer, but that certainly was the case back then. Brewing multiple potions did not stack together as they were made.
Work very carefully. Perhaps the 'accidental' drinking of a potion could be played out as the brewer being hasty with his work and spilling a bottle, or otherwise ruining that batch.
I understand the frustration, but you are, effectively, brewing high quality magical elixirs in about 6 seconds. Buuhuu that it takes you another minute to carefully stack them.
Just wanted to clarify: I was only rephrasing the problem, as some of the responses were about unrelated things. It's not actually a problem that bothers -me-. ;)
