I heard a rumor that the summoning points pool system is broken and you can get unlimited summons... can someone please confirm whether this is the case?
The summoning points pool seems to work just fine on my druid. When attempting to summon more creatures than the points allow, the last summon 'leaps back into the ether'. Hope that helps. :)
Pauric Ders, my level 7 wizard's summoning points are working as intended, if i exeed them, the new summon disapears.
On a recent Necromancy focused cleric I had my new summon disappear when the amount of points were exceeded.
I wonder if this is at all related to one of Adam Corona's quests a week or so ago... He has extend spell, and for a long time did not have Summon Monster II, and on the purple crystal quest, toward the end, I summoned up a total of around 12-15 fire elementals (some of them extended summon 1). Lately, every now and then, when faced with a tough fight, I'll summon up a ton of elementals, around 12 or so. Someone may have seen me and been thinking 'wtf, that's too many!' Anyway, most of them are summon monster 1 which costs only 5 points, and summon monster 2 costs 15, and I have many points in my pool. Bottom line: Not broken, just awesome.
Nope its being limited appropriately for my PC
Same as everyone else. When my points are exceeded the summon simply disappears immediately.
