One of my favorite aspects of EFU, and even in EFUA it could be IC for it to have found its way up. Can we please get it added to the current crafting system? I will table a standing offer to assist in making loot and writing crafting descriptives.

Might be better as its own system, but the components would be super rare or require teams to go down to the Underdark to gather them (or drow/duergar/svirfneblins come up to sell them).
Or perhaps merely general engineering using mundane and magical conponents, with the UD parts existing for really powerful plans and hints.
