Moore's greatest moment: hitting Drayden where it hurts.

I can't remember the conception of Moore but I can tell you her portrait had a lot to do about it. The portrait is a cosplayer of Balalaika, a character from the anime/manga Black Lagoon. The burn scars were a key feature of Moore's character and features but I did a poor job of emoting them. Unlike Balalaika, who was an underworld criminal, Moore took the law enforcer/guard/Helmite route. She was the oldest of numerous siblings and her family lived in Westgate, a typical place of scum and villainy. As the oldest, she took responsibility for keeping her siblings safe from the usual/typical drunkards who'd pass by her home nearby the Docks District. Moore got the burn scars on her face and chest when one of those drunkards managed to break into her home. While she managed to keep her siblings save by keeping the drunkard occupied in the kitchen, she suffered for it in more than one way.

The things that the drunkard did to Moore turned her into a real anti-misogynist. She took disrespect against women for disrepect against women's sake very seriously and was willing to go beyond the law in dealing with it.

There was one time when Moore and Walter Hodgeton got into a bit of a speaking argument about the laws of the Docks. This is what happened when the topic of rape came up.

Moore liked to have considered that Devlin got close and had a lot in common: both were women of duty, both had a ridiculous amount of paperwork, both had to deal with the stupid things men do. Politics always got in the way, however, and being members of two opposing factions made it difficult on her. Despite all that, she had thoughts about finding one way or another to split Drayden and Devlin apart to whisk her away.

When Belalcazar was around, Moore often tried to play the "good cop". When alone, however, she could easily take up the "bad copy that'll pull your balls off" role.

One of the best parts of playing a Stygian was definitely the actual law enforcement and the trials and investigations that go with it.

Moore wasn't big on mages. Sure, mage are helpful in a fight and all, but a gigantic, floating rock? That's just the kind of thing that goes to people's heads.

Moore had a fairly simple philosophy when it comes to law, government, and rulers. And she also had a simple way of saying things.

The war with Blackhearth was definitely one of the greatest highlights of playing a Stygian. Not just because we got to lay seige to a castle. Falkner's desertion hit Moore harder than she'd admit. Being in the position of both a loyalist and a conscious person could be hard at time.

Oh, and who's crying, do you ask? Let's see... I'll call him... C. Belalcazar. No, wait, that's too obvious, I'll go with Coronado B. I kid, Nobody made Coronado de Panifilo Belalcazar cry. Moore did manage to make him feel real awkward though.

Ha. Moore unfortunately was turned off the idea of romantic/intimate relationships because of how she got those scars. Then again, nobody tried to genuinely get past that. I think Brennen was the only one who seriously tried to but he did it in obnoxious enough way to annoy her.

*sigh* I have to go away for three weeks and half of my favourite characters on the server up and die. I'll really miss Mirana. Solace respected her, and Rue never even found out that Mirana was a fellow Helmite.

Awesome character. Hope you'll make a new one soon.

You just had to bring up rape during that conversation, didn't you?

I like Moore, and I'll miss her.  She was my romantic passion, my flame.

It was the perfect example. Something so wrong, yet still allowed in the Docks. That combined with the whole will-kill-2-people thing was enough to make Moore not hesitate to beat Hodgeton down and drag him into trial or kill him on the spot if she ever got the chance. You were lucky she never caught Hodgeton alone :)

Vindictive was what I was going for. MacElroy was a great example of where Moore would try to bend the law where it or the lack of more solid information got in the way of real justice.

That's too bad, I was hoping to be able to role play more with her. Especially with an evil character later on. Oh well, good character from the little I saw. =]

An incredible PC. I was very sad to hear about it. She was the one Armada member Geniveive trusted.

Great PC, Caster, I look forward to your next one.

Coming from Westgate, Moore was more than willing to rile the more evil-leaning individuals and factions, she knew what they could do to a city. With that in mind, Moore was also more than happy to help out the the goodly factions like Pallid Mask and the Bastion when she could, unless they really caused some real trouble.

The Armada's less-than-welcoming attitude towards magic was hardly her decision to make!

In terms of letting actual spellcasters into the Armada, I meant.

Armada is fine with magic that helps THEM look good, but Trenada derides it, hates it as a part of war.

I know, I was being deliberately obtuse. :)

To stay on topic, Miranda was a darn fine soldier and I loved interacting with her whether as her enemy or her friend. If the Armada didn't want mage members that was fine with Ulfrin, she didn't want to join it anyway. She didn't even support Miranda because Miranda was in the Armada but only because she liked and respected her.
