Can we have harvested meat given the Item's Unique Power that allows it to be cooked like Raw Animal Meat on a campfire? It would be cool.

If we did this though, wouldn't that mean it would be worth while to make your pc need to eat?
For example, your pc needs to eat every time you rest, or you have decreased stats.
I know this server is not that hardcore but personally i wouldn't mind that at all.
Cooking and eating for rp purposes is cool. Mandatory eating just gets irratating and frustrating. You are logged on about a quarter of a day at most. It's easy to assume you go to the toilet, eat, sleep etc. In the time you aren't online.
I don't know about you, but having to stop a quest because your character has to go pee sounds awesome! "Lets go get those orcs... oh, um, hold on a second."
Then you would get all the high wisdom characters telling you to go before you enter the deadly dungeon of Bane's ex-wife's sister.
Yeah, i see what you mean actually, it would be good if it had some sort of effect though so it wouldn't seem pointless, you may aswell RP that your eating without actually eating something seems as it doesn't emote it.
Perhaps a 1hp temporary hitpoint idk.
I think it would be cool to have food heal something small (~5hp) sorta like healing herbs every certain number of minutes/hours.

Really, it's that I want to be able to use Cooked Meat as an RP tool and reagent, but it's really hard to get hold of short of buying it. This is bizarre as I can get all the raw meat I like by stabbing furry animals. It's more about style than mechanics, people buy a lot of whiskey off my PC even without having Drunken Haze to make it beneficial.
With regards to MacPanther's suggestion, although Cooking with a kit is broken right now, you used to be able to make pies with a power that added a small number of temporary HP. What I think would be fun would be small, temporary save or skill bonuses from being well fed. Rat Meat adding +1 vs Disease for 3 hours. Decent meats adding +1 conc. Nothing that'd make them a 'required smashbot consumable' and result in mandatory sandwich breaks before Orc runs. Just "hey cool that does something".

I can't see the unique power on any Snake, Deer or Panther meats I harvest.
