Title: Dyes
Post by: Thomas_Not_very_wise on November 20, 2010, 03:15:43 AM
Please, please, please let these drop again in the module.

The inordinate difficulty of finding the correct dyes for outfits and the soul wrenching accursed tailors makes outfit fashion a tedious lamentable process so that the endeavors to customize our outfits become wastelands of regret and time away from role play

Could use certain reagents to make dyes too, maybe. Like with herbalism, but using berries and stuff, or mud. Makeup too, if some one wanted that.

You can make paint base with alchemy. And many plants in their description says they can be used to create dyes. I can only assume it is already implemented.

What I would love is if the tailor system would just give the number that corresponds to each dye when you display it on the mannequins.

I usually design my outfits in a private module, and I know what dye numbers I'm using for the outfit I want, but since the mannequins are all located in areas with off-color ambient lighting, I have to cast a Light spell just to be able to see what I'm doing. Knowing what number dye I'm looking at would help enourmously.

I think its something to do with windows vista, but i crash about 50 times when making an outfit because of changing it on the manequin. Rather then clicking next colour, as said above it would be better to have a list of colours or assigned to an specific number.

I hope that this is true.
