Thought I would make a separate, slightly more in-depth post about my PC faction, The Host of the Apocalypse.
The Host of the Apocalypse, or simply 'The Host', started as a group of loosely aligned PCs from varying walks of life, factions and allegiances, whom gathered at the call of the Captain, Tristan de Vallaux, to work towards the prevention of the End of Times. As it is now, the Host is slowly growing, with more and more PCs offering themselves to it's cause, therefore I've a desire to turn it into a fully-functioning PC faction.
Though the Host of the Apocalypse is lead by members of the Numinous Order, worship of the Three and One is by no means a necessity (although, don't feel offended if certain PCs attempt to convert you!) as they are heavily varied in concept, worship and allegiances, etc. However, that is not to say I do not see this faction as being an excellent way for people who have a desire to join the Order proper, but have very little IC/OOC knowledge of it's practices etc, to have a chance see them up close and personal and learn a little about what they're about before applying.
Concept-wise, the Host of the Apocalypse has room for all manner of concepts, so long as they have a burning desire (or not, if you can make the concept work!) to prevent the End of the World.

Here's my question, will they accept anyone? I know the Order considers the worship of certain dieties of LAW AND MAN to be malevolent.
So long as it makes sense, in my eyes, yes. Though in the eyes of other PCs in the faction, whom are paladins or otherwise, you may not be welcomed warmly! It will be a challenge.
I can vouch for this. It demonstrates well how badass the Numinous Order actually is. So if you want a part of the action - join up.

I think many can agree that the Numinous order is a hard faction to get into. Even if you pass the app and join it can feel like something is missing.
It takes a strong dedication from the players within the Order to give a true representation of the faction.
As of last night, myself and some other members of the faction decided to bring back this faction. It worked in the past to create a truly amazing atmosphere and we have high hopes that it will do so again.

Things are heating up. This is a great way to get in on a lot of the action without an app. Also a great start to get into the Order if you want. Lot's of great perks and DM attention if you 'don the black'.
