I'll be trying to run a Prelude/week, each consisting of a mini-adventure and introduction to the Isle of Ymph. This is an opportunity for you to join and start the module with a small group if you are in-between characters. This week's adventure will be:

A few concerned citizens, driven by adventure and a will to help others, have decided to lend their aid.
Number of Characters : 3-5 (Priority to those without characters).
Starting Level : Deputy at 4, rest at 3.
Characters: The Deputy + Citizens of the town of Hluthvar.

I wanted to run this tomorrow, but we'll see if I garner enough interest by then. It's a low level, low magic, old school adventure with a few twists.

Deputy Horatio Mandrake. This man is a rounded man who takes pride in his appearance. His is meticulously about his hair in particular. He loves to indulge and his position as deputy makes this easy. He was drawn to the position to try and gain sway with women. He often neglects his other duties to take time off and flirt with minor noble women. Despite his laziness and lack of discipline he was taught to fight by a master swordsman and is not impartial to showing off his skill. With the news of the of the screams and mutilations he thought this would be a perfect story to brag to the local women about and has gathered the few willing to investigate.

Edit: Decided to actually play the character I had planned.
I just want to spam up this topic with a bit of general praise for Mort, seeing as he's brought something extremely awesome back to EFU in an improved formula.

Demetus Tovias(Brother of Micheal Tovias), was born and raised by old farmer jenkins but more so his brother, Demetus was weak and frail, however he was strong in mind. He depended on his brother for strength, and aided his brother with his wit. He found farm work hard, tedious and a waste of time. He wishes to be placed among nobles, to be looked up upon amazement of the townsfolk, This opportunity was his First step to greatness.

Paul Selone is a skilled adventure often interested in treasure hunting and other adventurers. Though rumor has it this human was fined recently for burglary.In order to pay his rather steep fine hes decided to take up this adventure.

Michael Tovias (Brother of Demetus) was born and raised by old farmer Jenkins and his brother. Michael was strong, the perfect fit for a farmer, which was why the old man took care of him. He takes care of his brother with his strength, and is aided by his brother's intelligence. He is loved by many, because he is kind to all, however he does not have the mindset of a farmer, he prefers adventure and glory so that is why he sets outs with his brother.

Gethany Talshanner is a young, simple-looking woman with an inherent talent for arcane magic, she lived a destitute and miserable life in an orphanage somewhere in Hluthvar, until her aptitude for the arcane was noticed and she was taken in as an apprentice by an elderly Wizard who taught her much of what he knew. Her studies just recently ended however, with her master's sudden disappearance, the cause is still left a mystery, but among the villagers, there is gossip that Gethany herself was involved, several that used to know her also mention that she has acquired a rather strange interest in certain monstrous beings as well. No matter the damning rumors and hearsay though, she has decided to answer the Lord Mayor's call for aid.
[No characters and I can make it on 28th or 29th, preferably 9 PM, but 8 can likely work.]
