I only really noticed this just now when the server had to be reset and we had to make our way out of the quest in time.

Well the first part of the snakes quest take so long to get out even when running.

I would suggest that a shortcut could be made on the path that is blocked off by rocks which allows you to climb out, but not in, this would cut out a big chunk of the exit time.
