The Iron Throne was also he faction responsible for the iron crisis in Baldur's Gate.

They are a bunch of scheming, backstabbing lowlifes that hide behind the veil of a respectable mercantile organization.

An extremely cool concept, that these players have taken to excellent lengths. Recommended!

Glad you posted this up!

Can you give a little more detail for those of us who don't read much supplementary information/books/stories on the Forgotten Realms?

How widespread is the Iron Throne?
Where are they accepted? Hated? Never seen?
Are any figureheads present at all (real or otherwise), or is their entire leadership cloaked in mystery?

Thanks! Glad to hear a bit more about them.

I have to add that Baldur's Gate is not canon for the Forgotten Realms, so the information about the Iron Throne's secret mine in Cloakwood, and stirring war between Amn and Baldur's Gate is not canon either. That doesn't mean it isn't their style. At best it can be used as an example of how the Iron Throne thinks and operates.

Actually, there's been a novelization of the game which is considered canon by most sources.

This is a great faction with a lot of potential in the current setting climate. There is room within for any and all concepts, mostly, which makes it even more interesting.
