Having had to leave early and closing a quest without my party members nearby, I wanted to drop gold on the ground for them to split between themselves when they got back, but the gold simply vanished, and I lost it. I took a screenshot to substantiate my story...

Is this a known bug?

Have seen this happen before in several areas, including the Warden's District and Docks.

Drop gold on the floor, and it does not appear on the floor, but does leave your inventory.

It is a known bug. Not sure what can be done about it...

Just hand it to the person directly. This has to do with the areas 1.69 put into the module

Once someone told me: "NEVER drop gold". Guess that's why.

You accedentally fed the gold into a placeable most likely. Really old bug and theres no solution as stated above.

I know this is a problem on alot of bridges. The same problem happens with traps when you put them on the bridge, you can't ever click on it again.
