Title: Make Deafening Clang a Bard spell
Post by: Spiffy Has on March 06, 2011, 10:22:28 PM
Johannes, magic scriptor of all spells, can you do this?

It makes way more sense as a bard spell than a paladin one. <.<

Obligatory If you are a bard and rock out you'll get a 1/day deafening clang item?

If bards need anything, it's a fix so that Lesser Dispel doesn't get blocked by blur as a result of Spell Immunity now working agaisnt Dispels and a glitch with the innate level (Lesser Dispel's innate level of 2 is ignored and it uses the fact it's cast as a L1 spell for Spell Immunity). Although this would be cool, I wouldn't see it as a more interesting thing than allowing bards some spells they're actually meant to get in PnP. Plus it'd have to be a L2 spell as it would be crazy as a L1 since Bards get a lot more spellslots than paladins.

Spells bards get in PnP that would be cool to see here:
Blood Frenzy (for the tribal bards around)
Scrying.

Hmm, idk, this all seems..very mechanical.

On a more serious note, I don't think Bards or their allies need a second form of elemental damage that stacks with the other spells on their weapon, causes 20% arcane spell failure, and is multiplied with critical hits.

This proposed suggestion is indeed both unfeasible and undesirable.
