I saw an earlier clip of the game. It's been improved immensely.

I miss the slower paced, lumbering titants of the MechWarrior series though.

There were some crazy fast lightweight models you could use in MechWarrior also! Though admittedly not as much of that ego-thrill as being a slow moving heavy weapons platform making craters anywhere you looked at.

This very much reminds me of the old console mechwarrior games, including the ones for the Genesis and the PS1. Man, Nostalgia vision.
 
Something about this trailer just excited me beyond belief. The sound design is immensly awesome, and I love the old school cyberpunk aesthetic, getting serious Akira vibes.
