While reported at least twice before. No answer was given AFAIK.

Examine mark works as intended for players spot/listen/hide/move silently/pack weight/in stealth/in detect mode/health points.

It doesn't work properly for their gold. It always tells you how much gold you, the examiner has. It also refers to everyone as you, the examiners gender.

Also, I've found out that when you use examine mark on something you can't see, the target receives the message "You cannot examine what you cannot see" instead of the examiner.

I've never had any messages while using it other than ''X is being vigilant''

I guess that's because I'm not very good! :(

you need appropriate skills and rogue levels, as stated in the announcement about it.
