I think this spell is way to good for its spell level (1), granting complete immunity to mind spells.
I think it would be prudent to give the spell a simple +5 versus mind effecting spells (Tasha's, Hold Person, etc...)
And as an added perk to abjurative focussed spell casters (Clerics, bards, wizards, sorcerers) Spell Focus Abjuration would give +10, Greater spell Focus Abjuration would give +15 versus mind effects.
Or SF or GSF abjuration grants immunity. Either way, giving specialized wizards perks is always a good thing, and you weaken the overall wizarding population.
It is still useful, just no longer overpowering for its level.
Yeah, that'd be a welcome change, and make it so that Specialized Abjurers get full immunity as usual.
This was discussed before. =]

Thomas, if that happened I'd make a Paladin with SF: Abjuration and trample roughshod over every mind save ever, GSF mages and uber NPCs be damned. I used to be for this sort of thing, but a successful mindspell is a win in most cases as the target is out of the fight for long enough to cream them. So a counter should be relatively easy to get hold of or I for one, will be welcoming our Extended HP Cleric Overlords. This has been argued to death.
What I think would lead to more variety in fights would be to change things on a case by case basis so that PfX blocks fewer spells. Weak mind-affecting spells like Bane, Doom, Gedlee's and Command could be changed to not be Mind Affecting any more. Ghoul Touch could be removed from being mind-affecting, as it already has touch range, and the Poison descriptor to make it easy to save against. That would lead to a greater range of offensive spells being used, as opposed to the glut of "PhKs at dawn" PVPs you'd see if PfX wasn't a good counter.
It's been beaten to death after a long, long discussion in the past already. As was the decision then, PFA remains unchanged. Its not rare in spell or bottled form and it's easily dispelled, so everyone profits.
Changing the way a spell works as intended and just like PnP? I don't think so.
If your going to Nerf PFA I say nerf mind spells.
I've always thought this but never chimed in.
Definately get rid of total immunity IMO... Make the server harder too.
I'm against any changes to this spell.

This doesn't make the server harder. It just gives more power to the already overpowered spell caster classes. Wizards are already as powerful as it is.
Against this suggestion. We don't need to make our wizard overlords any more powerful.

I mean, lol.
Your suggestion is bad and you should feel bad.
True, Naga's 8 wisdom barbarians would never survive long if this got changed.
If we change this, it'd be to a +10 mod v mind
Mind spells on EfU tend to be insta-win if you get them off on a single target, or even a couple of targets. I'd be against changing this.

And your casters with carefully optimized feat selection would reign supreme
lol @ various posts
This is a totally awesome suggestion provided you play a GSF: Enchantment or Illusion mage that has a penchant for flogging dead horses.
No.
Only the weak minded and cowardly object to true balance such as these...
Balance? Let's say low will builds have 5 will on average (being generous), many casters will have their DCs in the low to mid 20s, good enough to beat 15 vs mind affecting nearly half the time. As stated many times already, failing a mind affecting save pretty much spells death.
Strongly against this.

Enough said.
