Title: a fishmonger who sells fish
Post by: chezcaliente on May 31, 2011, 01:07:51 PM
Pretty self explanatory really. Having been given a good reason to acquire some raw fresh fish in game, I was disappointed to discover the most obvious source in the docks' square doesn't actually sell any but merely exclaims "one pound for a ducat".

why on earth would you buy a fish? Do anyone ever buy susages or other types of food?

This is a bit spoilerish, but the fishmongers don't exactly sell fish... Rather... "Candy"...

Besides, there's a fully scripted fishing system in place for you to get your fish from.

Yes. I realise there is a scripted fishing system. There is also a scripted gardening system, but various merchants sell garden produce (at a fairly inflated price, but I think that's kind of the point).

And yes, I am also vaguely aware that the fishmongers primary business may not in fact be fish (the npc dialogues in the inner piers make that fairly obvious) - but surely they still do actually sell fish as a cover?

Anyway - I feel it would make sense to have it available much like I -could- buy Bonga from Gah'woul (or however his name is spelt).
