Title: Whispering Wind / Teleport Configuration
Post by: Staring Death on June 12, 2011, 11:47:48 AM
My character is a bard who uses Whispering Wind.

There is a huge bug with my teleport configuration, sadly. The locations are persistently stored, however, the spell will not go to destination every time I log out or the server reset. I have to delete and store the location every time for the spell to work after logging off/reset.

I don't know why you are having this issues, but I can and have used both spells successfully within the last two weeks. Ive never seen any use which required relogging nor issues with the places being stored.

Id wonder if it has to do with the areas being changed and updated recently, (the names of the areas are used as a reference, if they change, then it might not read through right?) Have you tested this between unchanged areas SD?

While everything seems in order now... an hilarious bug occurred.

Having forgotten to select a destination for my spell, I decided not to send the message (through the menu, no destination showed [SELECTED]).

I sent a DM message regarding a bug... and it was transmitted through my only destination, regarding Xumar.

Well, when it seems I think it works, it fails... No message is sent.

While I'm unsure if it's wanted, you can't add teleport points when the area is warded, therefore, I can't make whispering wind reach there unless I set a point prior to the ward, and the ward may block the whispering wind if I already had the point.
