I attempted this quest last night, and the server reset before I could turn it in. Due to the reset I've lost the furs and the 400 gold investment that's required to start the quest.
Is it something that's possible, or desirable to make the Bundle of Furs last through resets so that the quest can be turned in when ever you make your way to the contact in Sis Lamen?
Four hundred gold is a heck of a lot to lose to a reset.
I'd suggest that the Skinner sells you the furs as a generic non quest item, but doesn't start the quest. Instead, you both get the quest and end it at Sis Liman when you talk about selling furs. Or that buying the furs is one option, talking about delivering them and starting the quest is another. That way you can still only do it once a reset but it doesn't matter if you had the furs from before or the quest was interrupted.
Would also be interesting for people to be able to steal your package and deliver it themselves! Except for no experience, just the gold.
This is really not a problem unless you take the quest just shortly before a reset. It should go quickly enough to finish it.

Twice has happened to me. Once because the server crashed, the other because it crashed after i delivered the furs but the character did not save after that, and as i logged backn the furs were removed from my inventory.
It is a problem Talir. Granted, not the greatest of problems, but a problem nevertheless.
