It seems that f you take this option at character creation you cannot leave Old Port.
There's a quest that should help you, but it seems to be broken at the moment... I'll get on it!
The one quest I found at the very beginning regarding "papers" allows a persuade check. After I failed that I ran around and couldnt find anything.
yeah made a character just to explore... but now that i've done that there's not much else to do! Looks very nice though...
I'm unaware if I've missed anything, but even when I passed the persuade check I didn't get any papers.
