Make these visible to the player so that they command a better understanding of the mechanics involved with the dispel magic check.
Similar to what is done with clerics and their turn undead, 1d20+cleric level+ charisma modifier+superfluous modifiers.
More shit in the combat log, I suppose, but it will allow us to see what the opponent's save (particularly with NPCs and their nigh impossibility of being dispelled) is.

No, the reason for this is to identify the wretched little quirk int he system, that seems to be associated with NPCs and dispels. it is simply impossible to dispel NPCs such as the Whisper of Shargaas, Chosen of Gaathmar. If you've tried to dispel them on a level 9 caster, you'd know not to even bother as it consistently only dispels 1 or 2 buffs.
Nor would it alter the chances of dispelling a normal PC.
Can`t be done anyway.
