Considering the rarity of poisons these days, would it be possible to make Snakes and Spiders give a Poison item (marked Stolen) if you used a Meat Knife on the corpse and pass a Heal/Wilderness Survival check with bonuses for Assasin Levels/Cutthroat background/Poisoner perk? Or for them to have a high (50-75%) chance of dropping a random strength weapon poison when you kill them? Yes, there's the Poisoner perk, but that only helps rogues. This would be useful to characters that would want to hunt down specific venoms or rely on them regularly as a concept.
