Well, Chumbar has finally died. He was a simple pig farmer thrust upon Ymph and chose to do what he knew best, raise swine. :) My goal in making Chumbar was honestly to make a human character that embodied many qualities found in half-orcs, while despising them IG. At his heart, he was just a simple, stinky farm-boy that wanted a proper farm, a goal he would never see.
Chumbar was hatefully racist toward orcs on the account of him being conscripted into an army to battle them in his previous life. His hate for half-orcs also came from his previous life as he watched the women of his hamlet grow ripe with half-breed child on account of the orcan hordes had ravaged his small farming village. His sister was among the impregnated. She died during labor of the accursed half-blood.
It was also somewhat well known that Chumbar's mother had died of 'the worms' (pork tapeworm), which he had mistaken as the 'withering' upon getting to Ymph, as the symptoms of which were somewhat similar.
I'd like to thank all the great players Chumbar interacted with (so many!) and the DM team, especially Iron Oligarch, Sternhund, and Derfo for making this character as awesomely fun as he was.

Where he didn't do so hot. He DID however attack a giant monster that appeared in the Fugue and ended up -dead!?- in the Fugue. However the Fugue wasn't to be his final resting place -yet-, He was raised by special request of Menaster Caermyn himself! :) This surprising turn of events was not relished long however. Mere days after the wars end, the White Stag fiasco (and the half-orc he FD'd) would come back to haunt him...

Weird and unique PC... one of those sorts of PCs that makes the world more immersive because... well... some people are really just simple pig farmers.

I gotta say, I love characters that have a plain/common/benign aspect to them and Chumbar was a great example of a simple boy trying to live in extreme circumstances.
Chumbar's dedication to his ranch and his boars has been fun to watch.
And, ha! Even in the end, it's all about Abigail xD
