It does not seem like the +attack bonus for a favored enemy stacks with other buffs. If for example you get a bless or an enchanted weapon, the favored enemy buff does not stack.
Are you sure?
Go by the combat log, the character sheet is likely to be incorrect
It will only stack with base ab buffs like strength/Divine power etc, Magic Weapon is +1 enchancement to a weapon which in turn grants you +1 ab the same as the bonus from Fe and bless just gives you an extra +1 ab the same as fe so it will just raise your normal ab vs everything not your fe bonus as well.
I'm fairly certain that all bonuses stack on top of the Favored Enemy bonus. Try doing it again, might have just mistakenly added the bonuses up.

I'm 100% sure it doesn't
I don't think that is intentional, is it?
It is basic game mechanics, so yes. If said buffs did stack with the rangers fe bonuses we would have level 8+ rangers on the server going around with like Mid 20's ab, which is pretty OP.
Assuming they start with 20 dex or strength, maybe? By the time they hit level 8, they will get enough buffs from potions, clickies and group members to negate the favored enemy bonus altogether.
Thats correct. The bonus is: You have high ab unbuffed against certain targets. When you get to 8 though you can potentially have an extra +1ab vs your fe over your normal ab.
EDIT: Simply put its not a bug :P
That is not much help then. As I understand it, rangers get the buff because they are weaker than other classes.
Rangers are full bab class. They are not on the weaker side of things, it is simply one aspect of their class.
And as far as I've seen, bonuses stack, not everything just shows in the character sheet. Look at the combat log. Same bonuses vs specific race don't stack with favorite enemy though. Only highest one will be used.
You know you get +skills vs your favoured enemy too.. rangers are a very powerful class. It reflects on the fact that they're a hunter and these favoured enemies you would be more skill at hunting. So flavourful with a slight boost like most classes have. If you really don't understand what i'm talking about log into vanilla nwn grab yourself a weapon with +ab vs enemy(x) and test it for yourself.
No bug here.
