Good sir, you are mistaken.
Myconids have arms and are perfectly immobile.

My idea involved a group of Myconid, lustful and curious for new experiences, emerging from the UD to the surface and learning of other cultures, communicating with other sentient creatures via hallucination-inducing spores.
