Title: Increase the duration of charm person and dominate

The new sorceror changes are neat and provide interesting new RP.  However, the Mesmer changes can't be all that useful if they are on round/  level spells.

I suggest linking both spells to feats.  No feat, default duration.  Spell focus enchantment, 30 seconds per level.  GSF 1 minute per level.  That would allow charming to be useful, right now the duration is so short that you cannot do much with it.

I don't know how it relates to the Mesmer Changes, but ...

[Unfortunately] Charm spells are 'disables' and, though perhaps not the finest, upping the duration can have low cost devastating effects in a number of situations.

If for the purpose of RP, the effects of charm spells linger longer than the actual 'debuff'. I don't recall exactly how much longer (Charm Person is around a day, Dominate around a week .. but I could be a day and a week off, so don't quote me on it). The point is, if you and your subject are OK with it, you can extend on it!

For the level of spell that Charm Person is, I think round / level duration is pretty appropriate - especially for what it does. Add to that the boosts from mesmer focus and it's a great perk.
