Title: Automate character deletion
Post by: tropic on March 15, 2012, 01:56:31 AM
Not sure how feasible this is, but could a voice command be implemented that would delete a PC?

E.G.: You are an on a test PC who dies on Fat Rat. You're sitting in the fugue and you type /c delete. You get a message that says "type /c delete again to confirm" and you type it again, then you are logged out and the character is removed from the server vault.

Suggested in the past, and turned down every time. It's apparently not desirable.

If you want your vault cleaned, contact a DM.

Yes.  I made a test account for such a purpose, though I also would appreciate having some terrible test pc's i made on my namesake log in removed so they don't clutter.

Was not aware of this!

Disregard accordingly.

The main reason it was discarded was to avoid rage-quit deletions. Plus it's some scripting work for something that can be done quickly if you ask nicely ;)
