He should not only sell parchments for scribing scrolls, but he should also sell some common foodstuffs and accessories such as Rags, Woodland Berries, Wilted Flowers, Dried Fish, Rolls of Bread, etc!

Another little oversight I might mention is that he sells a Crafter's Scepter and Brewer's Elixer but does not sell the potion bottle or bone wand in order to make wands and potions.
