Badass to the end. I thought it was a particularly moving moment, so I spent a bit of time trying to find the right angle to get some cinematic shots.

It was a great ride.

Fun fact:

I got his name off of a sign on Interstate 80, just east of Des Moines.  It was the exit for the two small towns of Colfax and Mingo.
