There's an exploration area, one of the underground ones, that is filled with about 8-10 Undead Fungal Warden Marooi (the boss from the Tainted Grove quest). And before you say "well buff up and crush them," please consider that the entrance is the middle of the small room so it is eminently possible to die to level 4 spells in a round or two after transitioning.
Do the bosses have that specific name? I thought the name was "Fungal Warden" only.

In the case I experienced, they were specifically named. I may have misspelled the name, though. Marooi? Marool? Something like that.
In my experience, this random only has 3-4 of them, unless you happen to enter it with an animal companion or a dominated animal, in which case that number multiplies five-fold.
And they are in fact Undead Fungal Warden Maloii.
Don't think that is a bug, i've encountered this before.
Definitely a bug. A monster template was changed and uses this monster now, please advice a DM when you find this area so we can fix this.
