I think it would be a neat feature of the forums if you could enter your location on your profile and have it show up on a map everyone could see so all can see the diversity of our players.
Sounds hard to implement to me, just a thought.

I think I know what you're talking about. There's been at least one thread in off topic about this sort of thing before. What I've experienced before is a world map html thing that you could stick on a forum or profile page, and when someone views it the map marks the location of the IP and puts a flag relative to the country over it, then lists the countries and count at the bottom. So it shows the world map with anonymous markers of where in which countries people are viewing the script at are from, and below it the list of how many hits are received in total from which countries. If someone wants to find it on the web it'd be cool, and totally anonymous.

Google maps or whatever provides this as a basic function if I'm not mistaken.
I would like this! I'm always interested in learn about where the players are from. Anyone from some small and out of the way European country/city should tell me, maybe I've been there!
