Hey folks, anybody now having an issue with graphics playing NWN after a recent Windows 7 update? All of a sudden when I launch NWN it says something like "reverting to Windows basic color scheme" and when I log into EFU everything is choppy and slow in general. I basically can't do anything that would involve combat or it would likely be a disaster.
Wondering if anybody has encountered this and determined a work-around. I have of course tried the old "reduce all your video options" stuff IG and it didn't help.

Did you try the option to launch the game in an earlier version of Windows, like XP or Vista?
Sometimes reverts to basic colour scheme and other strange stuff, but don't have the issues with choppiness.
That's a good point BadOmens. Might be that after the last update to Windows that for some reason NWN stopped launching in XP Compatibility mode. I'll check when I get home tonight.
