I have had spawn set at the cave for a number of resets and cannot do the gathering quest there. I understand others are having issues as well.

I've been using that spawn point for a while now (since character creation, actually) and haven't been able to use the gathering quest there either.

Good. So I'm not the only one seeing a problem. Normally it takes three resets or so to register that the character lives there but it hasn't been working.

Also haven't been able to activate this, assuming setting/regularly using the spawn point is what constitutes eligibility.

Don't know how long this has been fixed but it works now. Just set your spawn point at the cave again.

I've found that usually you have to initiate the conversation a few times before it works, for some reason.
