Title: Hostile Mob Bug in Random Encounter

In a random encounter involving a Cave Bear and several Bear Cubs, the Cave Bear will actually begin attacking the bear cubs, instead of protecting them like I assume it's supposed to be: a mother bear and her cubs and such. While this is easily explained away ICly as a rival bear killing the offspring, I'm guessing this was not the intended situation.

Mothers are known to eat their  young if they don't believe they will survive.
