In the dark and twisted Isle of Ymph there are many a difficult trial and horrors faced. The concept originated around the idea of what it would be like to be a commoner in such a dark and macabre setting. As if the Withering was not sinister enough, so many other terrifying and gruesome presences wander Ymph all competing in the night. The visceral emotions that would come with trying to survive in such, raise a family in such, and pursue faith in such a turbulent setting.
The more Mr. Magister and I talked about it the more EFU we began to spin in the lens of "Horror Game" rather than traditional fanatsy RPG.
So the idea was to capitalize upon those feelings that people try to ignore: Fear and Wrath. A group of devoted men bound in faith, of all walks of life, coming together in a solemn oath with the single and merciless task:

Laced heavily with lore and myth of the Three and One, but by no means limited to only those deities, the endeavor thus far has been to create a band of men that even the often accused fanatics of the Numinous Order would be skeptical of. The facing of fears through numbers and faith is no new creation for humanity so the hope was to try and work within the bounds of EFU to create a legitimate gathering of men and women to scour and do what was needed in the face of "Witches" aka Profane.
