Ive noticed that my druid is unable to summon his animal companion ever since the new scripting was implemented.
I have spoken to other druid pc's who also are suffering form this problem.
It says it has summoned the companion, however nothing appears.
It helps a lot if you mention What companion it is that is not appearing, so they know which to look into.
I've had this problem yesterday with the panther animal companion.
The /c recall command also didn't respond as well as it usually does. (and i wasn't in combat).
My panther companion doesn't appear either, though it did previously.
Character is a 2/2 druid/ranger, with no alignment change or loss of spells.
What new scripting? When you make bug reports, try and be thorough. Sometimes all we have to change is a single line of code, other times we're talking about several hours of work. Having to spend time before even knowing what to look for quickly makes bug squashing annoying.
Oh sorry since the new subrace thing? and its my bear animal companion.
Im not too sure what its called. but the thing that say loading subraces etc when you log in.
I find it difficult to believe more than two weeks had to pass before somebody thought to report this, but I know of no other recent major system changes. Can anybody confirm that the two are connected? Also, I'd appreciate if somebody could relay exactly what happens when trying to summon their companion.
When i click on the summon companion quickslot, a message says 'animal companion summoned' but nothing happens, and the use of summoning is not an option anymore.
I havn't been able to summon my animal companion for a few days now.
yeah, it does the player action. but no summoning circle appears, and neither does the companion.

I didn't report it right away because I wondered if I hadn't selected one at a level change or something dumb.
Tried using a hotkey, and the radial dial - same thing.
Clicky, it says "animal companion summoned", and nothing happens.
Testing by creating a new druid, I found that I couldn't summon the bear companion at either level 1 or level 2. Diety Silvanus. The combat log shows that the character is summoning an animal companion, but nothing happens. It's as if the trigger that is supposed to happen doesn't react. This is after EFUSR checks that the character adheres to sub race restrictions, and the character aquires the human skin.
Badger - Working
Wolf - Working
Bear - Not working
Boar - Working
Hawk - Working
Panther - Not working
Giant spider - Working
Dire wolf - Not working
Dire rat - working
All were done with various characters with the diety Silvanus.
