There's been made three random events to our pool of interesting encounters happening over time. Since these are new and may require some tweaking, I want you guys to be aware of them.
First of, invasions are back but have been moved to outside Mistlocke. As you participate in the defense, you'll earn bonus experience points that's rewarded at the end. There's also crates of supplies that will unlock when the siege is over.
Next is caravans from Sis Laman. Someone will alert through a sending when a caravan has been made ready and is in need of transport. You can also head there and see if the NPC giver has a caravan prepared for you. It's likely that it will at some point be possible for others to rob this caravan, so be prepared for trouble. Mercantile skills should be useful for negotiating a price at the end.
The last that's been made accessible is a scouting task handed out by the Wyrm Watcher in Muskroot's Tower. From time to time he will announce that he needs help scouting various areas of Ymph. You can also just speak to him to hear whether he has something available. A map with the area to scout will be handed to you, then you need to go there and find the location you were given. A journal update will show you when it's been done.
What's special about these is that they will give you experience points and a reward, either in form of supplies or gold. These may be in need of adjustment, so alert me if something seems to be too good.
I'd also like to know if you encounter any bugs through participating in any of them.
These are only the latest features to a plethora of interesting events and encounters that you'll meet on Ymph from time to time. If you've suggestions for other similar additions, feel free to let me know.
