Title: An Apology
Post by: Howlando on September 18, 2012, 07:20:32 PM
Friends -

More or less every single recent DM event I've tried to run in the recent past has finished with me running out of time and being forced to hand things over to my patient colleagues. This happened again just a little while ago with a big and largely unanticipated PvP mess that I guess is still unwinding, but I'm not able to get IG now to supervise. Hopefully the other DMs can handle things.

It's just hard for me to be able to fit in NWN these days but I do want to apologize for getting in this situation all the time of starting things and not being able to finish them to my satisfaction.

And to those of you on the quest to visit Zusternia the Jeweler, I'm very sorry also!

In my experience, Cheops' Law of Engineering can readily be translated into DMing. Every event, no matter how carefully planned, takes more time and costs more effort.

We all appreciate what you do, Howl. Take care; one of these days you will catch up! :)

Just allowing these things to happen is good enough.

You're a bro, bro. :>

Having been on this I can safely say it was awesome and we value your time, as someone who also plays on limited time constraints forcing me to log at these situations it's understandable.

I have ridiculous time constraints as well.  Really not kissing ass, but always thrilled to have you around!
