My holy symbol seems to have reverted back to a previous, weaker form upon logging in. I had been getting multiple copies and so i trashed the ones that were the weaker versions. But when I logged in, the one I was wearing (The most up to date one) reverted back to the previous, weaker form.

It goes down due to lack of prayers bud, you have to constantly get new prayers in order to maintain its power + increase its worth!
I don't think that's the case. I ask every person to give a prayer before I give them blessings. My necklace still has its 5th level, yet another one in my inventory is at its 1st level.
The problem isn't a lack of prayers. It might just be resetting since the script was changed so that we spawned with another holy symbol.
It happened again. Should I not trash the duplicates? Im back to almost its original form.

Yeah. Happened to me too.
So I'm currently carrying TWO apparently identical symbols. Should I discard one of them or not?
Don't mess with the holy symbol in your inventory. Keep the one you have on.
Problem is I don't always keep the symbol on. I swap out various amulets!
Mine keeps on reverting back to the original form.
Amulet duplicity is a bug. Not the part of reverting back. Prayers alone aren't going to do you much good in the long run.
